EGG SANDWICH - EASY AS 123

Egg sandwich is a creamy and flavorful sandwich made with boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and a hint of sweetness from honey or sugar. Enhanced with sesame oil for a subtle nutty aroma, this sandwich is perfectly balanced between savory and slightly sweet. Served on toasted bread, it’s a quick, satisfying, and delicious meal for any time of the day. This is one of my go-to recipes, especially when I’m in a hurry.

NOTE FROM THE CREATOR
I learned this recipe from my tita, who always prepared my meals before I left for school. Since I had to be out the door by 7 AM, she made quick and easy dishes, and her cooking became a big part of my daily routine. She took care of me for half of my life and influenced my love for simple, homemade meals—like this egg sandwich.
Whenever I share this recipe, people often get confused because they expect an egg sandwich to have sliced eggs, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce—more like a classic deli-style sandwich. That’s when I realized my aunt had her own unique way of creating recipes, adapting dishes to make them easier yet just as delicious. Looking back, I think I inherited her creativity in the kitchen and her willingness to experiment with flavors.
